WILPF International

The Women's International League for Peace and Freedom is the oldest and largest women's peace organization in the world. Founded in 1915 by women who met in the Hague, who were organizing to stop the ravages of war in the midst of World War I. WILPF has been working ever since to end war and to cultivate a lasting and just peace.

WILPF International is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Our offices are directly across from the United Nation's Palais des Nations.

For more information, see our website at www.wilpf.int.ch.

WILPF United Nations Office

The Women's International League for Peace and Freedom's United Nations (WILPF UN) office is located in the same space as the JAPA office.

WILPF UN is staffed by a Director and by a number of project interns. The two main projects of the WILPF UN are Reaching Critical Will and Peacewomen.
